I had always owned and liked my pool's sand filter, so when it finally bit the dust after 15 years, I knew I would replace it with the same manufacturer, Pentair. It's nice to know that some things just are built to last and perform well. I have sparkling clear water and my family enjoys the pool all summer. I leave the filter running all the time, and it basically takes care of itself.
